Started a repair in the kitchen? Broken equipment needs repair? Then you need to know how to remove and remove the built-in dishwasher from the furniture. When it comes to dismantling a dishwasher, many are lost: where to start work, how to find hidden fixtures, what you need to disconnect in the first place. You will learn about this in our publication.
Why is it better to get a built-in dishwasher on your own
Many users of Bosch, Siemens, Electrolux and other brands of dishwashers are thinking about how to dismantle the machine from the built-in kitchen. If everything is done correctly, then the work will not take more than 10 minutes.
Why is it better to do the work yourself, and not contact the service center? You can save on the work of the wizard, who will certainly count the dismantling of the PMM for a separate service.
For example, a technician needs diagnostics to find out the cause of a breakdown. What do you pay for:
- for the departure of a specialist at home (depending on the company);
- for diagnostic services;
- it will be in place: to conduct an inspection, you need to remove the PMM from the furniture - you will also pay for this.
Contact the service center or not, you decide. After reading our article, you will learn how easy it is to do the work yourself.
After buying a dishwasher, many turn to furniture makers who integrate and connect appliances. There are such cases when, with self-tapping screws, they drill through furniture panels or the case for better fastening.
As a result, the plastic water tank located at the side wall of the PMM is damaged. There may not be a leak immediately, because the self-tapping screw is inserted tightly. But when you decide to pull out the car, the tank will no longer be restored.

Do it yourself
Inspect the equipment, find the places where the mounts are located. Typically, the PMM is attached to the side panels of the cabinet and countertop with special plates. Prepare a Phillips and flat head screwdriver and get to work.

- Turn off bolts and fastenings, disconnect wires.
- Remove the bolt from the bracket mount to pull out the cable.
- With a flat-blade screwdriver, disconnect the o-ring and release the cable.
- Let's move on to the drain. Open the door under the sink, find the place where the drain hose connects to the siphon or sewer.
- Loosen the clamp, remove the hose from the seat and pull it out through the furniture panels.
- Open the hopper door, unscrew the bolts that secure the housing to the countertop.
- If the model legs have been adjusted and locked, unscrew the screws and lower the legs.
- Grasp the side panels with your hands and pull the equipment towards you, pulling it out of the niche.
If you had a fully built-in model with a hinged door, you can remove the facade. This is not difficult to do:
